today i'm feeling acomplished, stretched.
waking up to the pounding of constructions
i thought the blue wall next to me was gonna fall
on my head and sleeping body hence
crushing me to death--the horror!

then it was off to the office--in my usual
sleepy fashion:
and geared up to fight the CIBTEC war
battling floor plans and drawing sinks
fighting with staff induction programmes
and punching minutes of meetings in the face

winding down to sad news of a friend's relative passing,
(chin up ivan hohoho!)
and then off to watch some kickass balls
with the commando bastards, my boys.
we were split 3 aside:
turtle, jessalyn & boyscout for the Germans
and me, the dragonballboy and ronald for the Argentina team.

penalty shoot out saw bladders on the verge of bursting
domestic violence
and the turtle perching on the edge of the sofa.

poor argentina.
but there's no shame in losing in a penalty shoot out. i will miss those baby blues and white.

:) i'm not a soccer fan,
just constantly surrounded by people
who are obsessed with the 22 little men chasing a ball.
and one can't help, but get caught up in this soccer fever.
